If I backup and restore through icloud would it put all the apps in the same place on the screen like where they were when I backed it up and automatically download all the apps? Last time I did this it didn't download any of the non stock apps and I had to do it one by one which was a huge waste of time and kinda defeats the purpose plus I don't have enough space on the computer to back up 64GB.

The few times I had done it that's how it worked--things were placed where they were when I backed up and automatically downloaded app by app basically.

In the early days of iCloud backups, yeah that was a problem. But today, your phone is restored in the exact state that it was when the backup was made. It’s great.
