Im an architect student and planning to buy a MB.

Sometimes i use form z and plan to use some archicad.

I cant afford a MBP but will the MB with integrated graphic run form z and archicad ok? who slow will it be?

im not planning very complicated form z usage but moderate?

Almost anything involving real time 3D will run like crap with integrated graphics. Integrated Graphics are made mainly for 2D.

i think thats BS, intigrated graphics arent the best, but if you want to do somthin on a MB with 3D, you just have to make sure its at its min. level for graphic quality. you people here are all acting like intigrated graphics wouldnt run 3D chess, it works just not at best "visual" quality.

We're all saying that 3D apps would run like crap, but I think we're a little too critical of the Intel graphics.

1. The Intel graphics chip is better then what the iBook G4 had.

2. I've heard MacBook users saying that WoW and Doom 3 running great (better then an iMac G5 with 128mb Video memory)
