Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where/how to sell my 2010 MBA 11-inch (standard config). I just ordered an iPad 2 and I hardly use the MBA as it is, so I figured I'd sell it as someone else out there could surely use it. It's in perfect condition, I've already restored it (and reconditioned the SSD beforehand) and it's currently sitting in its retail box in my closet with all the original package contents.

I was just wondering about the best place(s) to try and sell it, or if there is a forum on MacRumors specifically for selling hardware.

I also have a 2008 8-Core Mac Pro that I'm looking to sell. Any tips for selling these systems would be greatly appreciated!

I think there are some forums specifically for selling, but I'm a bit of a newbie on these forums.

But, uh... what is the configuration of the Mac Pro and how much are you looking for it? :)

The MP is a 2008 octo-core (2.8GHz), 10GB RAM, ATI video that came with it, stock DVD burner, and multiple drives. I can sell with or without the drives. Right now, I've got two Intel X-25M 120GB SSDs in bays 1 and 2, a 150GB WD Raptor in bay 3, and a 500GB Maxtor in bay 4. They only problem with the OEM hardware is that I think I fried the USB ports on the Apple keyboard while charging an iphone w/ juicepack and an ipod at the same time... lol

I've got two Dell monitors hooked up to it that I'm looking to sell as well. One 24", one 20.1" (non-wide).

I also have a Drobo (4-bay) that I need to get rid of (with or without HDDs). It's got two WD 2TB Greens and two Hitachi 7200RPM drives in it right now.

Basically, I'm going all mobile since a majority of my work takes place from the couch or from random locations throughout my city.

As for the price on the MP, I'm open to offers (and the included hardware is negotiable, i can sell it separately); either way, I'm gonna recondition the SSDs with diglloyd next week and get the rig ready to sell.

I love the mac pro, but I honestly use my MBP more, and so the MP just sits there, serving files to my home theater stuff and downloading/encoding. I use it for adobe stuff sometimes, but nothing too intensive.

How much do you want ? I would try amazon.com

I was gonna try to get $750/OBO, considering that it's basically brand new. It was an impulse buy that ended up being a toy for me and the wife. Not a mark on it, and I've got all original packaging/materials. It's still eligible for applecare, as well.

Basically, i'm downsizing. Any reasonable offer would be good tho.
