question about sim unlocks for 3g iphone - gevey and rebel

I am kind of looking at these 3 sim unlocks on ebay :

they all claim to work with 2.2.1 w the new 2.30 baseband...but does anyone know if this is true? Anyone ever use these specific ones? I just purchased a 2.2.1 with the latest baseband and was hoping one of these would unlock it.

The rebel one says you can change the firmware on it for new releases and the rebel sim will work to unlock it almost forever with the firmware changes you can apply to the rebel sim?? seems a bit fishy.

im in the same boat, i took the plunge and just bought the gevey a few days ago based on all the positive feedback the guy had..

shrug, if that's the case I will probably do the same. is that firmware upgrade to work with the new base bands ********--from that Rebel sim card guy?

thought i'll give you an update to help you make a decision... the gevey came in today and it works perfect. it takes a while to boot up, which made me nervous thinking it wasn't working but after a min or two, it works fine
