I'm a noob, but was successful in unlocking my iphone, used Independence to do this. However, Ive read that one possible reason to my battery draining faster than normal is that I have SSH continuously looking to connect so its draining the battery.

While im a little confused and have litte desire at the moment to install anything else on the phone in fear of bricking it...my question is how do I turn this feature off. Do i have to install Apptap? Im not sure how to do it or which version i have to use. Its a little confusing and dont want to run the risk of damaging the phone.

Another question is that with my unlock I have version 1.1.1. In a worst case scenerio is it possible to revert the phone back to original state like out of the box state so that i could restart the unlock all over? Also what if I wanted to eventually go to At&T. Is there currently a way to get the phone back to the this state so that I could activiate.

Thanks everyone
