Hey guys, I hope you can help me out with a question.:D

I REALLY REALLY want a new MBP SR.

I am a student at a University in Canada. For some reason, the university doesn't offer the discount student prices at their store...

I don't have a credit card so I won't be able to purchase the MBP on the internet.

My question is this: Is it possible to purchase my MBP from the Apple Store in Toronto, and get the student discount instore? Or is that only available through the internet??

Anybody have any experience with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated :D

As long as you provide some proof that you are actually a student to the people at the Apple Store, you should be able to get the education discount.

:apple:

As long as you're only purchasing a stock model you can walk into an Apple Store, show them your ID and get EDU pricing.

word.

thanks for the quick replies guys! that answers my question perfectly!

EDU prices are only available through the Edu stores i think

I've tried before without success

EDU stores are: on Campus, and on Apple's site

I'm only 80% on this though.. it's been a while!

AHH, but I see you're in TO and have a genuine APPLE store!

Should be all good... we don't have those luxuries in Western Canada :)
