Hey Everyone,

I've noticed this on every iPod I've owned since the first shuffle but never really cared all that much until now.

I have a Macbook Pro at home with which I've synced my iPhone, but I work on a Mac Pro at the office and would love to be able to sync there as well but when I tried today I was give the 'this iphone already syncs with another library, would you like to erase everything and sync here instead' message.

This isn't preferable - I'd rather not erase anything but just be able to add. Is there a way to do this at all? Am I crazy?

Also, I love my iPhone! VERY happy I got it!

Oh, one more thing. Anyone know the best place to find great iPhone wallpapers?

Sorry to bump this but I'm surprised that nobody has answered. I retried this with a nano and sure enough my nano can work on multiple computers - am I doing something wrong with my iPhone?

Is there a way to connect it to more than one computer and transfer music/movies TO it?

sync to two

I am wondering the same thing. I was hoping that there is a feature that allows this, but I just hadn't found it yet.

Patiently waiting for some input.

Thanks!

You cant sync between two computers, the data can only can come from one computer. Meaning you cant have music from one computer and more from another, it can only come from one.

You can however, sync music on one, and other data on another.
I was finally able to have my music sync'd by my "home music server" (PC) and have all my Contacts, Calendar, Photos sync'd by my mac, which was the exact feature i was looking for, and im so glad im able to. Only negative is that the PC deletes my Podcasts put on by the mac when adding its music, so I have to always sync music (PC) first, then sync on then mac to get the podcast. No biggie for me.

you should only sync to one computer.

of course you can plug in the phone to a different computer but you may not like the result. it wont break the phone but some of your settings may be erased/overwritten.

It should work. When it asks you about "erasing everything..." just click no and it should let you set you as a guest and manual add songs, videos, etc.
