I have a couple of questions about ultrasn0w.

When I updated from 3.0 to 3.1.2, I used a Custom FW that I found online. On the site, there were two different kinds of file, activated and unactivated. Since I am on contract with AT&T, I installed the unactivated FW.

So when I install ultrasn0w, does that mean my phone now becomes unlocked?

What is the difference between updating using the activated FW vs the unactivated FW?

Just thought of another question: What is the difference when installing ultrasn0w on a phone with an activated FW vs installing ultrasn0w on a phone with an unactivated FW?

Thanks.

What is the difference between updating using the activated FW vs the unactivated FW? You already answered your own question, you are using an AT&T sim, so no hacktivation

Thanks.

The work is Hacktivated.

If using an official iPhone carrier, the sim activates the phone
If using any other carrier, you need hacktivation.

Ultrasn0w only works on baseband 4.26.xx
