Question about Unlocked/Sim-free

If they ever get the 3G Iphone unlocked(i know they are working on it), will that alone allow me to use any prepaid sim card from ATT?

Yes. However, you may just be better off buying a Naturally Unlocked 3G from another country, as there may be problems just getting a non-contracted iPhone 3G in the US for some time. Although, if you are going to use the at&t GoPhone SIM, just wait until you can buy a non-contract iPhone, as that may come sooner than the ability to unlock an iPhone 3G.
