Question about updating to new releases of Unc0ver

How are you guys updating your unc0ver versions? Do you have to start over and lose all of your tweaks and settings? or is there a way to update without disrupting all of your tweaks? I am curious because I see that the releases are coming in really fast... they are up to B41 right now..... I can't imagine people are restarting every couple of days and reinstalling tweaks etc....

Unless there is a really good backup tool that exists now.

I think the last time I JB my phone was iOS 6 lol... I am currently waiting for the A12 JB, so I can dip my toes in again.

just delete the app off your device. Then use cydia impactor to install the latest version. You can then re-jailbreak with that one and you won't lose anything.

Perfect thanks! that's what I was hoping to hear.... Just getting all my ducks in a row and information straight for when they release the A12 JB.

What is the best tool out right now to backup your tweaks and settings right now? I forget the name of the one I used way back in the days. Sure there is a completely different one now.

Ok good, I already have ignition installed on my phone

Ignition will give you 160 odd days certificate while Impactor is only 7 days

Make sure you install the app "ReProvision" from cydia. I don't trust the 160 days from ignition
