Initial
Items of use not shown here were Bluetooth USB thumb drive, reativated bt on mb and gave away the thumb drive
4 Port USB 3 PCI card
Now the above plus
Wi-fi/BT4 PCI card bt inop until next stage

So unless I missed something that where the beast sits now

Waiting to go in are
Nvidia GeForce GTX1080 founders ed. Chipped for macs
Power cable for bt module on wifi board
Blue ray optical drive
1 TB WD Blue ssd in OWC carrier for full size drive in place of the one hdd the other 3 will be in raid one
24" veiwsonic TD2430 touchscreen monitor
That the four pci slots, 8 memory slots, two optical bay will be inuse so no empty anything I know of. Plusband external enclosure that's scalable

What I like to do is upgrade the ram from 8 to 16 and add USB-c/thunderbolt if possible the next iteration

I'm awaiting on the 3rd ssd to arrive before going back in the case

My MBP I upgraded the 750GB hdd to a SanDisk 980GB removed the SuperDrive to an external enclosure and replaced it with a 2TB hdd. Upgraded the ram from 2x 4 to 2x8 GB iirc basically doubled it

I plan to run my flt sim plane lol on the ssd that replaced the hdd the other three will be raid 1 for basically a library drive for things like downloads, install directories etc

The iTunes library is on the QX2 along with photos the dual Satan will run the apps and so except the xp11 I might add a second 1Tb ssd if xp needs it and if I decide to boot camp win7 I'll use part of the hdd or maybe the 2nd ssd

If in get the USB-C I'll loose the usb3 pci card but it will be back through a dock, thunderbolt would be a plus imo.

What else can be done inside the cMP, outside I have a nice 5.1 speakers and using wired keyboard and mouse. But may go to the bt versions that I bought for the mbp. Or go back to my LogicTech. Wave KOB/mouse.
I have a nice Mike for audio in,
track ir and a web cam
12 port usb3 hub, Lexar workflow hub with two cf readers and one USB, one sd, one256 memory module, one other module that I can't recall ba ae 6 modules for the 4 port hub.

What else can I do with the limited video out . I could take either the dvi or hdmi and add a three monitor output box have it from a old dead setup. That might open room for my Wacom cintiq I have a 6pac monitor stand and get two more touchscreens so 3 up top are acres the 3 lower ones are viewsonic touchscreens.

Or a tv or two on each side of the touchscreen
Ive two old iPads to use with xp until I get the 2 t/s monitors
My controls are either saitek or my new Kvb stick and peddels I have the saitek proflight yoke, peddles, and throttle quadrants, all the panels except the arm panel the switch, bip, autopilot, trim wheel. Never bought into the fip squares. I set to add bodnor boards and switches and encoders as needed ii go three 60"tvs for thr top three drop the bottom unless I see the need for monitors for additional cpusto make everything work smooth.

The proposes for the cMP is three fold

1) typical desktop iTunes, Zinio, kindle etc
2) FltSim
3)photography running Lightroom and Photoshop, go pro videos plus dslr videos

That was like reading a conversation between 3 people all talking at once about their own computers.

What JedNZ said above, you don't need help (with your cMP) ;)
