Question about using custom sliders on 3G...

Alright, so I wanna change use a custom slider to that cool Pacman one I've seen around, I have a 3G phone using a jailbroken 2.0 firmware.

I don't want to do the PrivateFrameworks method, I wanna do the one where you SSH into '/private/var/root/Library/Customize/MainSliderImages/BackUp'

But, Customize isn't in there. Is it not yet possible with the current version of Customize to do this? Will a later updated version of Customize allow me to do this on the 2.0 firmware?
 
It's totally possible. Use Cydia. It has several sliders listed to choose from. Works like a charm. Also, you should consider Winterboard. It is WAY better than Customize. Winterboard lets you change everything, even the Springboard background.
 
Once you install winteboard I've found that customize can then change the sliders to whatever you want.

Without winterboard, customize can't change the wallpaper or sliders and a couple of other things. After winterboard (and deleting the .plist files in the defualt winterboard theme) customize can change everything I want.
 
I had the same problem. You can find it under var/mobile/library and there you should find customize2. Open the "MainSlider" folder of one of your previously downloaded themes and replace your new slider with the old one. However, you'll have to rename this Pacman slider to MainSlider1.png in order for it to work.

ok im a newbie too but i had the same problem. i can see that renaming and replacing will do the job but i've seen videos in YouTube were people using customize can scroll through different sliders on their iPhone and install on the fly.

here is the vid

the guy goes through a tutorial on how to make sliders and then using SSH he puts it in the iPhone. look at 06:38 thats when he gets to SSH

my Customize and iPhone directory look completely different than his

i think he was using Customize1.something and also i have a 3G phone with 2.0.2 on it

any help?
