So with the introduction of the Mac Mini server, it looks like a good way to save me money. At the moment, I am using MobileMe since it has push services for my iPhone and also carries bandwidth/space for me to host my own site. However, I pay $99 for that and from a web hosting point of view, it's not that great since it doesnt have all the scripting features...blah blah blah...

getting to the point, I want to know if the mac mini server would be a good alternative for the following reasons:
1. I understand I can use it as an email server so I no longer need to use mobileme.
2. I will be able to host my website on the server, along with more sites
3. From the looks of it, i can manage my calendar like mobileme could do before.
From my understanding, are these things true? If so, what are the other advantages of just going with the macmini home server over a mobileme subscription? How about the other way around?

Right now, my main concern is how bandwidth will work out. If my internet goes out, do I lose email/web functionality for incoming emails and/or visitors wanting to visit a site on the server? And apple doesn't list any specifications as to internet requirements. Any idea of what they are to make what I want to do possible (make it my email server, web server, personal data i.e. calendar mangement, etc.)?

I know it's a lot of questions, but any answers would be great. Thanks
