I was wondering if anyone out there knows about the possibilities of wall-mounting a 20" iMac G5 with built-in iSight.

Is this possible, or not? I thought I remembered reading somewhere that it was not possible when they first came out, but I was wondering if there is a way around this.

If anyone has any ideas, please, let me know!

EDIT:

FYI, the reason I am interested is because I am totally interested in replicating Cybix's idea of mounting my iMac in my kitchen when I move to Chicago in May this spring.

If anyone reading this post hasn't seen Cybix's thread, I suggest checking it out. He did an amazing job. It is titled "iMac Kitchen Project."

The iSight models don't support VESA mounting kits...the problem is that the foot doesn't come off. I'm sure someone somewhere has jury-rigged a solution, but I'm not aware of any real third-party mounts out there.

Yeah, I thought I remembered correctly. That really sucks.

I might even consider selling the iMac that I have and putting money towards a 24" iMac, as these can be wall-mounted.

But I don't know if that is a wise investment, for a kitchen computer.
