If you were a scammer, wouldn't you say that too?

EDIT: They are NOT an authorized dealer. Look on Apple.com at the list. Simple Google search shows that other people are questioning this like crazy and it must be a scam.

Report It

I'm located in the Atlanta, GA area. We've been getting a similar posting, sometimes 3 or 4 a day, for months. The past couple of months the poster has been saying the low price is due to how the units were obtained - they were donations. Yeah, right, some non-profit is going to give up top of the line Apple Powerbooks for much less than they're worth, and settle on donated used equipment. Heck, even if the organization preferred Windows to OSX, they could still sell the units themselves for close to or at list.

Here's what I do everytime I see one of these on Craig's List: I report it as either Spam or Prohibited. It usually disappears within the hour. (And unfortunately another usually shows up again within a few hours.)

The old adage "If it seems too good to be true..." no doubt applies here. Just walk away!
