A question: I have a 3 year old iPhone 4 and it is broke as in a hardware failure. The carrier is Verizon Wireless and they will swap out the iPhone 4, but it will most likely be the latest iOS version, the question is since I previously had a jailbreak on the iPhone in the past, will I be able to jailbreak the new iPhone 4?

I believe iPhone 4 is jailbreakable on any iOS version. The question is just whether it will be tether or untether. Right now you can use pangu and untether. Before there was geeksnow that was a tethered iOS 7.1 jailbreak

pretty sure iPhone 4 is untether jail breakable on any firmware it was ever on, accept maybe one or 2 iOS 4 versions.. witch I'm sure it won't have :D

Does that also apply for the 4S? Or just the original 4?
