For eBooks do you get a bright white screen or do you get a muted low energy screen like the greyish Kindle screen? From the demo it does look grey but still very bright to my eyes. Hard to tell from the keynote demo but if it is grey but still bright then eye strain is going to be a major issue. The Kindle looks great imo.

Gotta say, that guy doing the demo for "Brushes" may be one of the worst public speakers I've ever seen. Just cause a guy knows what he's talking about and has a high position doesn't mean he should be public speaking. The guy clearly doesn't have much experience w/ performance, was shaking in his boots. Poor choice.

It's actually an off White yellow colour. You could go in and change the accessability settings to White on black.

As for the brushes guy give him a break he is a dev works alone and has made a fantastic app. I dare you to do better!

Well I can still see that being a problem, the Kindle is really low stress on the eyes w/ an authentic dull paper look to it. I'll have to give it a go in person, not so sure eBooks are going to take off on it if its too bright.

As to your second point, really? Really?!? If everyone saw things this way the majority of this forum would be empty. I already acknowledged he most likely really knows what he's talking about. Doesn't change the fact he should be spending an hour less coding a day and checking into Toastmasters.
