Question for iJailbreak and PPC. please help!

does 0.5.4 work of PPC systems? i am running on an
iBook G4 with 10.4.11 installed?? also, if my iphone
had been unlocked to use Tmobile, should i take out my
SIM card and/or put in my old AT&T sim card before i
restore and update to 1.1.4 to then jailbrake and
unlock it, or should i leave my Tmobile SIM card in??
