1. How do I keep a wallpaper on my home screen phone(the screen which has all my apps, not the screen which loads after I swipe to unlock)

2. How do I enable quick reply, which all the ppl are talking that ios 8 has taken from android?

3. How do I stop an app from showing notifications in my notification center? Eg. Whatsapp, I get a notification for a message in the notification center, but I can't seem to stop that from appearing there.

1. Multiple ways to do this. Depending on which launcher you're using, press and hold anywhere on the home screen to bring up a menu similar to this.

You can also use a file browser to navigate to the picture, hit the menu button (three dots) and then "Set picture as" then choose wallpaper.

2. The default messaging app does not have this feature. You will need to use a 3rd party messaging app (I use Textra) or a custom ROM that has this feature baked in.

3. Pull down the notification shade, then tap and hold the notification for the app you want to disable until "App info" pops up. Press that and it will take you to the settings. Untick the box labeled "Show notifications" and confirm on the dialog box that pops up.

Thanx for the 2nd and 3rd.. But the wallpaper I want to set up is where it shows all my apps, the way u showed , you can only setup on the start screen, and the screen when u unlock. But where the apps are there, it's a black background and no wallpapers

----------

Apps like GO SMS and Textra have quick reply. As for the wallpaper question, are you referring to the app drawer?

If by app drawer you mean the page after I tap the button and it shows all my apps, and has a black background.. Then yes!

Different launchers will show your wallpaper in your app drawer.

Oh! Can you give me some.. Actually I'm new to android I don't even know what's a launcher #

A launcher is basically a replacement Home Screen. I use Nova Launcher and it makes your app drawer transparent just like you want. You can also use Nova to change your icons by downloading icon packs from the play store.
