Would a Free Software Foundation "Right to Repair" sticker be sufficiently upsetting for a technician to see on the back of my 16" Macbook Pro's display when I have to eventually take it in for service?

so probably they will not care at all.
Yep, I used to repair PCs back in the day, I can say the majority will not care what stickers are on a laptop.

I'm not sure of the wisdom of trying to anger the person who has to repair the machine however.

I've had some really great interactions [with Apple], for example, I got a free repair on my 2012 rMBP - I'm pretty sure if I was looking to piss them off, I'd be charged the full 300 bucks instead.

Something I try to keep in my mind and behavior - " A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger"

Assuming they don't know what the FSF is, they'll just think it's the business you work for, and will follow standard procedure. If they do know, they probably won't pay it much mind, or not enough for it to matter.

I don't know why you'd want to troll anybody who works retail. They are just grunts for the company, they have no say in policy or decision making. Some of these guys might not even be Apple fans specifically, they just took what they could.

Yeah! It was just a dumb question. In no way do I ever enter into any situation with an aim to annoy someone. Really goes against who I am as a person. I was just mildly amused by the thought. Not much media attention is given to the Right to Repair movement to begin with so even if I did want to annoy someone, which in turn, if you think about it, could also amuse someone, would be slapping like a Windows sticker over the Apple logo. Which again might not provoke any response at all. I think I was just bored when I posted this thead, haha. Please forgive!
