Hi All,

Unfortunately, my hard drive crashed and I lost everything.

I'm looking for a way to sync all of the songs/videos/photos/contacts/movies currently on my iphone onto the new computer(HD).

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks.

If you have AppTapp installed theres an app on there called SwapTunes, I belive this will allow you to swap in and out the whole library no problem.

If you dont have AppTapp get it and get Community Resources and get SwapTunes on it, do not sync to itunes until youve run SwapTunes and put your files onto the new HDD.

Dont worry, AppTapp will not brick your phone.

This will only work if youre not runing the 1.1.1 update, if you did update to 1.1.1 go here, these are the instructions to downgrade to 1.0.2. But downgrading will most likely erase your tunes, so your out of luck if youre running 1.1.1.

Too bad that I don't already have apptapp installed on my phone and can't sync without erasing my phone.

Maybe I'll give apple a call this evening. I'm sure they've have iphone owners lose a hard drive and want to restore their info from their phone.

You dont need to sync to put AppTapp on, all you need is 1.0.2 or below firmware and a sycning cable, AppTapp has a GUI based installer that does all the work for you, from there apptapp will download apps directly to the phone through edge or wifi, no cable necissary, folow my above directions and youll be fine.
