Does anyone know how to fix generic icons on desktop after saving?

Gene Therapy?

Oh, perhaps you meant generic icons. Ah, yes. Probably caused by a file type problem or file association. You can do a Get Info and set the Open with... drop down to the appropriate application. Should work.

Or get an application like FileType.

YES! thanks for correcting... my actuall questions is everytime I save a file on the desktop...MX firework... I doesn't show up... it shows a generic icon for JPG

If you use the Get Info process, you should be able to set it to use MX firework for every JPG image, if that's what you want. Select the application and click "Change All".
