you know how you can make a group of your favorite contacts?

is there a way to get easier access to them? there is about 10 people i frequently call and text. was wondering if there was an app to specifically click, and by doing so your favorites pop up, with an option to call text edit etc? if not, good idea - no?

Have you tried going to Phone and then Favorites on the left side?

yeah, but id like to have it on my wallpaper.

If and when a JB comes out, try using the "CallMe" app in Cydia. Amazing app that lets you put a picture shortcut for any of your contacts on your background for one touch dialing. Not sure if the Apple App store has anything similar?

Have it on your wallpaper...perhaps you're thinking of the widget functionality in Android, where you can drop a shortcut that goes directly to a contact, or to a specific number for a contact?

If so, go to the app store and search for direct dial. The results provide similar functionality in different ways - some examples might be Face Buttons, Touch Dial Pro, or 1TouchDial.

and yes i was did see it on a friends droid, liked the idea.

kinda sucks, all the ones ive tried need an internet connection.

so when you click the name - it connects to safari then goes. kinda pointless.
"the 1 dial" only does one contact, but it is free. but kinda pointless unless you only need 1 name
