I just bought an Apple Bluetooth keyboard for my Macbook Pro Core 2 Duo, and now I can't seem to put the computer to sleep. Whenever I try to do Apple->Sleep, it will try to go to sleep, but after about 10 seconds or so, it will immediately wake up again. I tried shutting the power of the wireless keyboard and the behavior is the same.

Does anyone experience the same issue?

Thanks.

My bluetooth mouse did that also. So I went to Bluetooth preferences and unchecked the box that says "Allow bluetooth devices to wake this computer." And that solved my problem.

Yes, I think I did that too, but it didn't seem to help. Did you have to reboot the computer first? Thanks.

For those whose interested, I finally found the culprit. The problem was caused by the Griffin Airclick USB device:

I installed this thing the same time I added my bluetooth keyboard so I thought it was the keyboard that was preventing the MBP from going to sleep.

My bluetooth mouse did that also. So I went to Bluetooth preferences and unchecked the box that says "Allow bluetooth devices to wake this computer." And that solved my problem.
