Heyoooo

My 17" high res glossy mbp just came in the mail today, and I just got back from work. It's beautiful...seriously.

Just a few questions if I can get some answers...

Note that it's my first mac ever, so bare with me if the questions seem a little odd.

1. Does safari have tabs? If so, how do I do?
2. I'm trying to put a CD in the drive, but it's not biting. Is it not supposed to bite? Or am I supposed to take something out before using it?
3. I got 2 OS X Tiger cds with my purchase. Do I have to install them? It seems as though Tiger is already installed on it.

Thanks a lot!!

1. Yes go to Safari's preferences, select Tabs from the top menu, and click enable tabbed browsing
2. It should bite once you have put the cd in far enough.
3. Tiger is already installed.

The Tiger DVD's are for re-installing the OS or applications if you have problems or delete something. They can also be used to diagnose problems. Unlike on windows, you can reinstall numerous times without any worries, though why you'd want to..?
