Other Question on paying off iPhone on IUP early

if i really like my Max, I will pay it off early and cancel the rest of AppleCare. I was told there will be a prorated refund base on the remaining month of unused AppleCare coverage.

When I picked up my Max today at apple store I asked this very question to an apple store employee, he told me that’s not true. When I signed up with IUP the full 24 months of AppleCare coverage is included in the loan, I have to pay the entire amount in full if I choose to. Was he correct?

I really don’t care about AppleCare as I’ve never gotten it before after over a decade of iPhone use.

You could return it for a refund, then purchase a new one without AppleCare.

If you are within your 14 days you can Return it and Apple/ Citizen Loan will close out your loan and refund you the sales tax and your first month payment.
