I was wondering if anyone ordered a Pro Max or has ordered for in-store pickup before from Apple. Usually I just ship to my home, but UPS and FedEx have been really spotty in my area lately, sometimes delivering packages a week or more late or just marking the item as no one home and sending it back to the shipper. I wanted to avoid that this time so I did in store pickup.

My question is, my order moved from "order placed" to "Processing." My apple care has a pending charge for both phones but they've been stuck on processing since Friday. Is that normal? I've never done this before so I wasn't sure if that was normal or if there was an issue with the order. Its showing my pickup date as Friday.

When you do in-store pickup do you get a notification that its shipped to the store? Just curious as I am hoping that everything is normal with the order. No reason it shouldn't be but like I said I've never done this and don't really know how it works.

Thank you in advance for any assistance here.

If you did the in-store pick up option, your card should have been charged yesterday. It will still stay Processing until at least Thursday or Friday early morning.

Because when you do in-store pick up, it's pulling from their inventories, you will not get the notification that it's shipped to the store and you won't be able to track it. You'll just have to wait for the ready for pick up e-mail from apple. Just make sure you go there at the time slot you choose to pick it up. If you go way early, they may turn you away and tell you to come back at your time slot, but that also depends how busy they can be. If there is no one, I'm sure they will be fine letting you pick it up earlier.

Yup this is standard operating procedure on pick up from store.
