Hi everybody,

This may be a silly question to you, but I am puzzling, as a new switcher to the macbook. I noticed that when the macbook is in use, the sleep indicator is still turned on, in a low intensity. Is this normal?

When the macbook is put to sleep, the indicator is flashing between high/low intensity, so it is working fine when sleep. Just donno why it is also turned on when it is not sleeping.

Thanks a lot!

Is it connected to an external monitor or any USB devices that may keep the computer from going into sleep mode? If the light isn't flashing than the MacBook isn't sleeping.

Hi, skyrider

When I put it to sleep, the indicator is flashing, so I think it is sleeping properly. My question is that the light is also on (in low intensity) when the macbook is NOT sleeping. Is this the same as other macbooks you guys have?
