Is it better to wait until the iPad's battery is totally empty or charge when it's like at 25% or so? Thanks!

You can top it up as often as you like.

But it's a good idea to let it fully discharge, leave it for a couple of hours, and then recharge fully about once a month. This recalibrates the battery monitor.

yup one a month only. you dont want to be doing that very often as it reduces the overall battery life.

i would recommend NOT letting it drop below ~20% as often as possible.
