question re: deleting photos from photostream ...

So I deleted all my photos in photostream on my ipad (although it would have been easier if there was a "select all," but I'll let that go for now.)

They did not delete from my photostream in my iPhone .... ???

Old pictures require deletion from each device, new ones the stream deletes from all devices.

Least that is my understanding of it.

Have you tried iPhoto? Quite a different experience and it seems to be an extension of iOS5.1 with photographs. I deleted an old photo in the iPhoto app and it was gone on my iPhone and iPad immediately.
