Question re: Intel Switch..

I am sorry if this had been asked numerous times in the past--

Does anyone know just what the Intel switch is going to mean insofar as software is concerned?

With an intel processor on board- does that mean that my software for my PC will work natively on my MacIntel? My practice utilizes some PC software which is simply unavailable for the Mac, and for that reason I have never been able to integrate Macs into my business. However, if the MacIntels would be able to natively run my same PC software....

Has there been a definitive answer on this??

no Mac software will run on the Mac and Windows software will run on a Windows PC - the new Intels might let you dual boot Mac os and Windows so you can run both OS's on your Mac -

intel macs do give more options for running Windows applications.

For instance with virtualisation VirtualPC will run significantly faster, apparently it will be as good as the real thing with the new hardware support.

For everything else there is Darwine.

I look forward to see Transgaming OSX too!
