[Question] recover a locked iPad

I forgot my PIN and now my iPad is locked. It is on iOS 6.1.3 jailbroken.
Anyway to "restore" it without updating to latest version?

Probably not. This is an issue well known since the first iOS jailbreaks. If it's on iOS 6,I guess the device is rather old. Would probably be easier to find another similar device on eBay,and scrap the locked one.

The real experts are probably over at jailbreakqa.com; perhaps someone there can suggest something tricky. You didn't happen to install ssh and set up a root password, did you?
