I just got a new ipod touch and i was wondering if i could re-download apps that were free but are now paid?

I do not sync my apps and that's why i'm asking this question.

Thanks for any help provided!

you can re-download apps that you've previously purchased from the same itunes account you used to buy them.

Actually I didn't purchase these apps they were free but are now paid and i want to re-download them in my new ipod. do i have to pay for them now?

Once you've downloaded it you can go back and re-download it for free regardless of what you paid.

Yes, if you downloaded in the past (whether you bought it or was free doesn't matter), it's free to get the update.
