the only thing Apple will not cover is a cracked screen unless you can prove it's there fault! battery replacement and phone replacement are both covered if it's in warranty. Apple has one of the best coverages out there. check the guy on this page that ran over his Iphone. Apple replaced it for $199 try that with a BLackbaerry!
