Question: Use with non-iphone unlimited plan going to iphone

Hi,

I am currently on ATT with unlimited data plan ($20 unlimited data and txt) on my old phone (2G, not iphone) without a contract (it was expired a few months ago). If I switch to an iphone 4 now and get 3G service, would I be qualified for the grandfather plan as in getting unilimited 3G instead of the new 2GB limit?
