Question: Will LTE Apple Watch Have Find My Friends Feature?

I'm wondering out loud about this one. My son is special and I'm considering buying him this if I can use the find my friends feature to check his location.

The current watch already has Find My Watch but it relies on a connection through the iPhone or with direct WiFi. Not sure if they will allow the watch to be the device find my friends uses for your location or not.
