I really don't know if this belongs in mac mini or apple tv/ home theater part of mac rumors. I want to stop the auto play of dvd's of the built in DVD player as I find its annoying.

go to your system preferences - CD's & DVD's - and set the option for "when you insert a video DVD" to Ignore
Thanks I am still learning the finer details of OsX its hands down better than vista. I like xp beta tested 7 liked it but have not updated my vista machine yet to it.
I do know when i get a new laptop it will be a macbook or macbook pro and next desktop will be a imac. I want a mac pro but that i cannot afford it with the upgrades i want on it its about 16,000 dollars lol.
