Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

I really do have several questions about the iPhone and MobileMe.

First let me tell you that I searched at Google and could not found profound knowledge about my concern. Second, I am listening to the great Luciano Pavarotti.

I do own an iPhone 2G and just bought me MobileMe at eBay for 60 bucks.

As you may know, I am not a hardliner in hacks and cracking thang. To get the iPhone 1.1.4. was pure luck. Everythings going fine with mail, adress, etc.

But what about now having the MobileMe Account? Is there a change?

I mean, when I make new appointments in iCal on my MacBook Pro, does it sync automaticly on my iPhone and on the WebApp MobileMe?

Because I have heard, that you can use MobileMe advantages, just if you have the iPhone software 2.0. Is that correct?

Thank you for taking time to read a concern from a wuss' and taking time to help me, and being patient about my bad grammar.

You need to upgrade to 2.0 to use MobileMe.

Search the forum, there are lots of posts on how to upgrade.

After you upgrade the phone, set up mobileme in the Mac's peferenced fisrt and sync the computer to the servers.

Then add your mobileme mail to the phone. That adds the calendar and contact syncing.

Then, if you like, you can turn OFF the mail part on the phone and it will continue to sync the other things.
