Hello all, I recently purchased 16GB RAM for my cMP1,1. I installed HWMonitor v6.18.1394, and it's showing some odd temperatures for some of the RAM. Can I rely on the information from HWMonitor? Why do some of the reading make no sense, i.e., no temperature for cores 2 & 4, only readings on RAM modules 1-4 & 9, etc? Should I be worried about the temps reported for RAM?

here are the modules installed in the riser cards:

Try this:

Monitor the temps, configure the fan speeds and see. May be bad modules. The numbers seems odd to me and the numbering.

Good luck.
MFC is reporting similar temps. I swapped out DIMMs 1 & 2 with 512MB hynix, and the temp issue goes away. now I'm gonna swap DIMMS around and see if the temp follows, but I need sensors that report on all eight DIMMS.

It looks like incorrect reads. I swapped the riser cards, and now Dimm 1-4 are reporting 129c.
