Questions about InvisibleSHIELD

Can anyone tell me if the InvisibleSHIELD increases the heat of your laptop?
I have a SR MBP 2.4 and after seeing the video I was rather impressed but I wanted to check first.
I would be getting a cover for the lid and the handrests.
