questions about j/b 3.0.1

Hey guys I wanna j/b 3.0.1 I know I need redsnow 0.8 and just simply DL 3.0.1 from Itunes. But somethings I though I ask before I do it;

Do I have to unjailbreak it before I install 3.0.1
Will I lose the apps I got from installous

One more thing I did go to transfer purchased apps because I read in another thread to do it to save the apps, but it don't seem to back them up.

Just upgrade in iTunes. You'll lose your jailbreak (and your stolen apps), but it takes minutes to redo with redsn0w.

As far as your purchased apps, iTunes does a backup of your phone before upgrading. They'll be there waiting for you once you're done with the upgrade.

any version of itunes is okay, mine isn't upgraded

I went with version 8.2.0.23 ad worked fine. it did keep some of my hacked apps but not all which is ok. Thanks for the help. Hope this helps others
