hello, so i was going to buy an ADC membership because i already have two ipod's so i do not want the extra one. My question is because they do not accept returns will it be possible to exchange it if i happen to get a yellow screen MBP, also can I get the 100 dollar rebate towards a printer if I buy it through them?

Thanks a lot guys hoe to join you on the flip side

I purchased through ADC and my first MBP had yellow screen issues. Called up ADC and FedEX shipped it back, postage paid by Apple. Did not try the retail stores though.

I am planning to get a MBP eventually and I asked an Apple rep the very same question. He stated that I could bring in an ADC purchased MBP to any Apple store for repair or replacement.

that is off the terms and conditions i just want to protect myself because the extra few hundred dollars saved is not worth the hassle

Yep, I saw that too and that's why I asked the Apple rep about that. I asked him explicitly about this clause and he assured me (after talking to his manager) that I would get repair/replacement support and that I could take it into an Apple store. If you feel uncomfortable about it, just talk to the Apple rep before ordering and get confirmation of this.

^^^thanks man i trust you, do you know if you can take advantage of the printer rebate. I was trying to find the link for online chatting but it dosnt show up on the apple website

They are protecting them from any lawsuits from people using beta software. Nothing to do with hardware. If hardware were not covered, they would never have let me register AppleCare on my MBP

^^^Thanks a lot man, now my question is can I still do the printer rebate with the ADC discount

When i ordered mine (MBP) the sales person on the phone asked me if i wanted to use the rebate. I did, and i'm very happy with it :)
That was half a year ago in Europe.
