I've had it just over a week now, and I think I'm noticing some discrepancies. For one thing, it' supposed to be an LED screen, but System Profiler says it's an LCD. Also, reviews say over 3 hours for DVD playback, a feat I've been unable to reproduce even turning down the screen brightness and using headphones... what gives?

Haha, boy oh boy. It is a LCD screen. LED is the backlighting method, as opposed to the traditional CCFL. And yes, you have to turn down the screen brightness to get maximum battery life.

Well, thanks for the wisdom. I've a bit ignorant when it comes to screen technologies :p.
