Hey!

i was just wondering...ive been getting my iphone unlocked by a phone company but now i don't want to keep paying...
the only reason i want to try the pwnage tool is because i dont want to break my iphone...

can i ask you... if my iphone 1.1.4 software has been unlocked by ziphone or iliberty (im not sure which) can i still 'pwn' it and do i have to restore it factory settings? what would i have to do to my iphone which is already unlocked on 1.1.4 for it to be prepared for pwnage.

Thank you!

Powerbook G4
iPhone 1.1.4 unlocked

Just curious, if your iphone is already unlocked, why do you want to unlock again?

Won't upgrading to 2.0 re-lock the phone?

I'm in the same situation. I'm unlocked on 1.1.4, but will need to unlock again once I upgrade, unless there is a way to upgrade without re-locking.

Yes. If u upgrade to 2.0, it would lock again.

But johnsingh06 didn't say anything about 2.0. And I hope he doesn't because there must be 10,000 posting here about the future of 2.0 jailbreak/hack/unlock < or whatever you want to call it.
