Hey guys,

This is my first post, I basically have a question about the fans on my Macbook Pro...

2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
3 GB 667 Mhz

Basically, I think it's just because I'm paranoid and love my macbook pro too much, but I feel like in the past my Macbook Pro used to be completely silent sometimes. Now the fans arn't loud (you have to put your head close to them), but they are definately always on. Maybe I'm hallucinating, but are the macbook pro fans always running?

Also a question on the new smcFanControl 2.1.1, it definately is cool you can control the fans, but when I raise the bar for the left fan and not the right, it increases both anyway. Is this normal? When I raise the right bar it just increases the speed of the right fan...why can't I increase just the left fan?

Hope this isn't too long, and thanks in advance for any help I can get!
