Questions Before I Purchase

1. I am getting the $799 model since it has a dedicated GPU I intend on playing games. I am kind of disappointed with that it is only 256mb of vRam, I was wondering if I could overclock in Windows? If there are any threads or websites someone could point me too, that would be great! Thanks!

2. Is there hyperthreading on the i5? I want this computer to last me at least four years, so if the i5 doesn't have hyperthreading I will upgrade to the i7.

3. I really don't like going inside the system to do upgrades, so I was wondering if the 750gb hard drive is 7200RPM?

I plan on upgrading my RAM later on from OWC, upgrading RAM seems easy, hard drive not soo much I will also be buying the keyboard, magic trackpad, and an older 23" Apple monitor. Thanks!

I can tell you the right now, that the Wireless Keybaord from Apple and the Magic Track Pad go wonderfully with the MagicWand. I can't lounge on a couch like I planned to but it's a great touch to the HTPC aspect of the Mini.

The 750GB HDD's are 7200RPM.

I remember reading that the Second Generation i5 Processor is capable of hyperhreading, but I don't know the creditability of the source nor can I find it so don't hold me to it.

I don't know about overclocking so I'll let someone else answer that.

If they are the correct CPUs then yes the i5 has hyperthreading

all dual core mobile i5's and mobile i7's mobile have hyperthreading. Its the desktop i5's in the iMac for example that dont have hyperthreading.

The only differences between the dual core i5's and dual core i7 you can get as an option is the 200MHz higher clock speed and I think 1MB more L3 cache.
Beauty about the server model is that is has a quad core with hyperthreading so 8 cores
