So, my family plan ends in March '08. Me and my brother need out of Verizon ASAP. I have three questions:

1. Can I get any phone now, and replace it with an iPhone in June?

2. How much would that process cost?

3. When My parents' contract ends, can they be added on to me and my brother's plan?

1. Yes, the iPhone is not subsidized so you wouldn't be missing out on any plan + phone discounts (at least that is what we know at this point)

2. It will be the cost of the iPhone of course and most likely activation ~$40. Get a decent free phone (or at least cheap) that has a decent resale value. A nice one that you can unlock easily would be good, then you could sell it to subsidize your iPhone and you would get a decent amount for it.

3. Yes you can add new lines to a family plan $9.99 per line. You might want to up the minutes as well.
