First of all, please accept my noobish questions.

*Let's say I'm getting a MacBookPro (The cheapest model - $2,000)

1.What comes with it? I mean as in software.
2.What can I do with the software?
3.I'm getting worried about people saying that some of the computers are slow? Aren't they fast???
4.Can I be in the car and be on the internet? If not, how so?
5.Would the same answers of these questions go for a 14" iBook G4?

Thanks a LOT!

Depends. You either need wifi (which just doesnt work if you're driving as the range sucks) or use like your cellphone as a modem, or get special wireless internet access. Otherwise, no. And it's not like you can drive and surf...

Apple.com/hardware/macbook pro will answer most of your questions regarding what's included.

They are pretty much the fastest thing going in laptops right now. The slowness that you heard about probably has to do with the software transition to Intel processors. Microsoft Office, for instance, does not perform as well on the Intel Macs as it does on the PPC Macs, or so I've heard.

Being connected to the internet while in the car going down the road would require a cellular connection, which is quite expensive right now.
