I was going to buy an iMac fully loaded (24", 3.06GHz, 4GB ram, 1T Hardrive) 5 days ago, by doing some research online I've read alot people talking about an iMac 09', I would like to know if anyone would especulate on what this new iMac would come with, GHz? Ram? Hardrive? maybe expandable for future specs?

I want to get an iMac for music production, all I'm gonna be using is protools, plugins and virtual instruments... Can the current iMac hold the punch? If it can, clearly the new one will.

THANKS FOR READING

Apple hasn't give any give any info about new macs, but I'm quite sure that they will come out at MW. New LED display, quad-core (for an option) and better duals for other models, DDR3 RAM (at least 2GB in every model), NVIDIA chipsets (better video cards) maybe bigger HDDs

Keep your machine. You wont see much of a difference in the new models. Only the bump up to memory to ddr3, which in all reality, I doubt anyone would ever notice.

Enjoy Today, and stop waiting for tomorrow!

Rumors going around say NVIDIA chipset (and everything that comes with it), and quad-core CPUs.

He doesn't HAVE a machine.

Wait for the update. If you can't wait eleven days, you don't need it.
