Hello,

After all the help on the forums I ended up deciding on the OCZ Vertex Plus 120GB SATA II (I've read reviews for and against, but decided because of price) and 8GB Crucial Ram.

There are a couple of things I'm unsure of. Should I be enabling TRIM once I install this HD? Also should I clone it or not? I've read arguments for and against (doesn't matter to me I don't have much installed on the Mac Mini now, just did a clean install of Lion). Also if I'm not to clone what would be the best approach to install the OS? (I do have a USB to SATA attachment laying around as well as 2.5 HD Enclosures).

Any help is appreciated.

Don't enable TRIM in Mac OS X when using a Sandforce SSD.

If you can do a clean install that would be best.

What's the best way to install the os? Should I just put in the new SSD, then boot from my Lion DVD?

I created a Lion DVD before I installed Lion onto my Mini. That way I could do a clean install.
